Stewart Emery
Stewart Emery is President of Belvedere Consultants, a boutique consulting firm situated in Belvedere-Tiburon, in the San Francisco Bay Area. Belvedere Consultants works primarily with key executives and senior management teams of growing companies. Core competencies include Organizational Culture Assessments and 360 Feedback Initiatives, Cultural and Organizational Change Initiatives, Executive Team Development, Leadership and Management Development, and Executive Coaching.
Mr. Emery is the best-selling author of the books, You Don’t Have to Rehearse to be Yourself and The Owner’s Manual For Your Life. People in the United States and around the world have been touched by his writing and radio and television appearances. Many thousands of people have attended his workshops, seminars and speaking engagements during the last three decades.
Mr. Emery studied economics, philosophy and psychology at the University of Sydney before pursuing a career in the advertising arts. He served as a creative director for J. Walter Thompson’s Sydney office and taught design at the University of N.S.W. He moved to the United States in 1971, and in the late 70’s was selected by the national media as one of the ten most influential people in the human potential movement.
Belvedere Consultants was established in 1988 by Joan and Stewart Emery to support senior executives in leading the spirit of their enterprises and maximizing the talent of their people. Current and recent work include projects at Cadence Design Systems, KQED, Levi Strauss, MasterCard International, Sandel Avionics and Think Outside. Stewart is a regular guest presenter for KPBS San Diego and the SDSU International Training Center.
Leb Tannenbaum
A founding partner of New Legends Consulting, Leb is a noted Executive Coach and Development Consultant with over 20 years of experience in helping executives and organizations move up to their next level of growth. His clients include Hughes Space and Communication, Oregon Department of Transportation, American Express, Sequent Computer, Mentor Graphics, OrCAD, and Cadence Design Systems, where he served as the Dean of the Executive College for Cadence University.
Leb’s extensive record includes successfully transforming both business model and corporate culture at Hughes from government supplier to private sector telecommunications satellite provider, facilitating team-based business practices at the Oregon Department of Transportation, preparing OrCAD’s CEO and executive team for a successful IPO, and creating and launching Cadence University and opening the Executive College where he trained more than 150 VPs worldwide.
Frank Binnendyk
Frank has over 25 years of experience helping manufacturing and design companies achieve their business goals, and he successfully served over 45 companies throughout the U.S. and Europe as a consumer advocate and business development specialist. He is an accredited advisor for the Center for Quality Management, a certified facilitator in the Power and Systems Organizational Workshop, including Leading from the Middle, and he recently completed lead assessor training for the People Capability Maturity Module (P-CMM).
Currently President of Quartz Consulting, Inc., Frank’s experience includes serving as Director of Executive Development at Cadence Design Systems, playing a key role at in the integration of merged and acquired organizations during his 13 years at Mentor Graphics, and holding marketing and engineering positions for the electronic design automation, electronic test and medical instrumentation industries. Earlier in his career, he was Director of Marketing for TSSI, and co-authored the book Design To Test, published in three languages, which became the corporate standard for design testability for over a dozen major companies.
